The Lamorinda Weekly interviewed Saint Mary's Theology and Religious Studies faculty member Brother Michael Meister, FSC for a Halloween-themed story about apparitions and hauntings at Saint Mary's. The story "A haunting tour of Saint Mary's College," includes an interview with the Saint Mary's professor, who is decribed as the College's "resident campus ghost expert. Having been associated with the college for 39 years, he had many a tale to tell during a recent private evening ghost tour around campus." The article on Meister is not surprising, as the campus thought leader on all things paranormal at the College, he has regaled SMC students for many years with tales of poltergeists and other things that go bump, or fade into the night. SMC stories such as "Gael Ghosts Give Students the Chills," and "Tis the Season for Brother Meister’s Ghost Stories," are also records of his interests in the supernatural at Saint Mary's.
