Description

Westminster College has named Saint Mary’s Provost Emeritus Beth Dobkin as its next president. Westminster is a private, independent, and comprehensive college, which focuses on the liberal arts with professional program blends and a dedication to civic engagement. The college is based in Salt Lake City. On being named to lead Westminster, Dobkin spoke about the value of the liberal arts in today’s environment “In a world becoming increasingly divided, Westminster offers an education that can build connections and bring people together to help solve today’s most pressing human problems.” Dobkin will join Westminster in July with inauguration celebrations planned for the fall.
