Description
ABC7 News interviewed Saint Mary's Marketing Professor Michal Strahilevitz about consumer hoarding of goods such as toilet paper and paper towels as a result of fears about lack of supplies during the COVID 19 pandemic. Strahilevitz, an associate professor whose academic research includes a focus on consumer behavior, noted how some consumers may use the purchasing of more goods, or hoarding, as a means of exerting control in a situation when they feel they have very little control at all.
