Description
Less than a week ago President Trump claimed that he had the sole authority to reopen the country. Governors across the nation and constitutional experts pushed back. On April 13 KCBS Radio asked Saint Mary’s Politics Professor Steve Woolpert about his thoughts on the president’s assertion of absolute power in deciding when states reopen for business. Woolpert’s academic research includes the U.S. constitution and the impact of the Supreme Court on American society. Listen to Woolpert’s observations in the KCBS discussion “Does the President Have the Sole Power to Re-Open the Economy?”
