SMC Professor of Education Adria Klein, who directs the KSOE’s Reading Recovery Program, has partnered with Scholastic, a global children’s publishing, education, and media company, in the development of Scholastic Edge, a collection of educational resources that assist teachers working with striving student readers achieve classroom learning goals. News of Klein's role with Scholastic was featured on the publishing giant's website and in the nationally distributed press announcement "Resources from Scholastic Help Striving Readers Grow Their Literacy Skills."
