The High School Libraries Workshop was established in January 2015 and is an annual event by the librarians at Saint Mary's College of California. All high school librarians and media specialists in the counties of Alameda and Contra Costa are invited as well as the librarians at the De La Salle schools in the greater Bay Area. The focus of the workshops is to share information with the high school librarians relating to topics such as: the first year experience for college students, and information literacy at the high school level, as well as to provide a networking opportunity for the high school librarians and media specialists.
