The 2016 High School Librarian Workshop focused on the first year college experience. Katherine Field, an English Composition professor at Saint Mary's College, spoke of what she saw and experienced with the incoming first year students. The later morning session featured Suellen Cox and Gina Kessler Lee, SMC librarians, who did a run-through of a library session similar to what they do in the classroom. The visiting librarians participated as if they were first year students. After lunch there was a spirited discussion of the morning events.
