Description

The New York-based culture blog The Awl features “When I Was Fifteen,” a poem by Saint Mary’s English Professor Matthew Zapruder. The work, a new poem by Zapruder, is part of the anthology FIFTEEN, which features a collection of of writings and artwork by authors ages eight to much older than 15. The anthology is published by 826 Valencia, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting under-resourced students ages six to eighteen develop their creative and expository writing skills. The Awl covers news, politics and culture.
