High School Libraries Workshop 2025
Wednesday, January 29, 2025 8:30 AM to 2:30 PMThe Claey’s Lounge, Soda Center, Saint Mary's College of California - Moraga, CA
Join us for an engaging one-day event at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, CA. This workshop is designed for middle school and high school library workers who want a day away to connect with peers and share innovative ideas to enhance their library's impact.
Enjoy ample time to catch up during the continental breakfast and taco bar lunch. Share and learn about today's library trends and best practices over coffee and snacks.
Gather with us to engage in conversations around school libraries supporting mandated curricular initiatives; AI tools; building community as new library workers; the art of makerspaces; and making videos Gen Z will love. Listen as students reflect on research skills and gaps. Wind down the day with follow-up roundtables and a little bit of unconferencing.ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER at https://bit.ly/SMC-HSLW2025, even if they’ve already filled out the interest form earlier. The registration fee is $56 and covers the cost of food, beverages and Eventbrite fees. Registration opens on Nov 18, 2024 and closes Jan 20, 2025.
