Join us for the 10th anniversary of our one-day event at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, CA. This workshop is designed for middle school and high school library workers who want a day away to be in community with library peers to share innovative ideas.
Enjoy ample time to catch up during the continental breakfast and taco bar lunch while sharing today's library trends and best practices.
Our presentations will include learning how to jazz-up library orientation, using activities to incorporate the AASL standards, building student library culture with library advisory boards, and fundraising. We will uncover ways to de-silo ourselves in the day’s panel discussion and talk about how to affirm our intersectional identities in library spaces. The day will wrap up with roundtables centering on Gen AI where we will hear from SMC students and faculty.
ALL PARTICIPANTS, including presenters, MUST REGISTER at https://registerHSLW2026.eventbrite.com. The registration fee is $56 and covers the cost of food, beverages, and Eventbrite fees.
Registration opens on Nov 21, 2025 and closes Jan 11, 2026.
